THE TAKEN gets top reviews!
Books one and two of Kathleen Creighton’s new series, THE TAKEN, both earned 4.5 star reviews from ROMANTIC TIMES! Here’s what RT’s reviewer had to say about “DANGER SIGNALS,” an April release:
With a serial killer on the loose and very few clues, police bring in psychic Tierney Doyle to help, which doesn’t make detective Wade Callahan very happy. But Tierney surprises him. She offers strong clues, and he finds himself attracted to a woman for the first time in a long time. Tierney feels it too but is scared because her abilities usually become a hindrance. Soon she begins to feel someone is following Wade. Is it something sinister, or a link to his past? With Danger Signals (4.5), Kathleen Creighton sets in motion her Taken series, which will eventually reunite a long-separated family. This terrific story is one of intense emotion and passion, with wonderfully drawn characters.

And for “DAREDEVIL’S RUN,” in AUGUST 2008:
Alex Penny and Matt Callahan were lovers and partners in an adventure tour business. But their relationship abruptly ended when Matt was paralyzed in a rock-climbing accident. Five years later, Cory Pearson, a brother he’s never known, finds him. Cory’s done something Matt hasn’t since the accident — talk to Alex. Cory realizes that the two still have unresolved feelings for each other, so he sets up a rafting trip. Alex has mixed feelings about seeing Matt again. Will they finally be able to open up to each other? Daredevil’s Run (4.5) is a touching, emotional story about a couple torn apart by overwhelm- ing circumstances. Kathleen Creighton does a beautiful job reminding us that real love is worth the sacrifices, even when it isn’t quite the fairy tale we sometimes wish for.
