After setting Shadow Soldier stories around the globe it was thrilling to finally bring one to my home turf – a mist-shrouded port city along the Pacific Rim tucked between ocean inlets, dense forests, and rugged mountains. A place with a multicultural heritage and a people defined by disparate mores, and by the wildness and weather that unites them.
This the backdrop for THE HEART OF RENEGADE, the story of an Aussie Shadow Soldier, a born protector who will not be able to save what is most dear to him until he stops protecting himself – from love. It takes a woman with real inner strength to breach this bodyguard’s armor, but she must do it if they are to defy a deadly enemy.
