It’s amazing how fast time flies when you’re trying to stay out of trouble! Three more books in the Hot Zone mini-series for Silhouette Romantic Suspense have been scheduled for the first of next year and will be released back to back. Thanks so much for the wonderful response to my first paranormal. My debut for Silhouette Nocturne was released in October 2008 as a novella in the anthology AFTERSHOCK. The stories stem from some extreme physical trauma or near-death episode experienced by the heroines of each novella. The aftershock of their trauma leaves them with unexpected and unwelcome gifts of paranormal powers.
My novella in the anthology is “SEEING RED”. After a near-death experience, firefighter Cass Hollister begins having bizarre startling episodes where she sees full-blown images of fires that haven’t happened yet. But when she shares her insider information with Ben Wyrick, the fire investigator and former lover she walked away from, she must convince him that her source isn’t his primary suspect: her arsonist brother.
This book was especially fun for me because I worked on it with two longtime friends, Sharon Sala and Janis Reams Hudson.
